Image Companion is an education Company for Image Consultants in the Netherlands for over 20 years. Courses are taught in English and Dutch. Courses in English are primarily taught on Zoom.
Currently Image Companion offers the following programs:
- Image & Communication Training (AICI accredited program)
- Personal Stylist Training
- Color Analysis Expert Training (two color systems)
Give yourself the Power of Image through quality education
The courses that I offer are both basic and advanced. This means that you will not need extra education about the same topics within the near future. That is quite unique. All courses are organized in small groups of 4-6 students. There is sufficient time for each of the students to get what you need. You will need about 6 hours extra per week to go through this education.
During Image Consulting Training a lot of topics come by. There might be topics you did not expect, but that do belong to the Image Consultant Curriculum. That way I like to inspire you how to shape your consultations and workshops.
After completing your education, you are always welcome if you are in doubt, need something, or if anything unexpected happens. My main goal is to take outstanding professionals to the market. That’s what I work for.

My name is Riet de Vlieger. My whole life I have been working around communication.
If you take your education with Image Companion, you learn how to work with future oriented courses. No standard tips and tricks. I used them all, but they never work as good as I wish. I have been looking around until I found the techniques and methods that are flexible, and still easy to use.
With the available training programs I teach you those methods. Color, styling and image consulting that is tuned to the features of your client like coloring, body shape, but also lifestyle, profession, level of responsibility, taste and personality of this specific unique person.

International Certification
Of course I am continually working to keep my expertise up to date. I am trained by Carla Mathis, and the only TheStyleCore licenced trainer in the Netherlands. Since 2007 I am the only AICI Certified Image Professional. As AICI International President (2017-2019) I had the opportunity to be in touch with the latest developments in the industry. As a student you can fully benefit from that.
In 2019 I conducted presentations in Bogotá, Colombia en Sao Paulo, Brasil in order to widen the scope on the profession of image consultants. We have a profession that can be very relevant for students, young professionals, elder people, CEO's.
